Based on the vintage WH10V1, the Ten Spot II V.2 takes everything you love about the original TSII and WH10 and increases the options. The beloved wah of players such as John Frusciante of RHCP, Josh Klinghoffer formerly of RHCP and currently playing and touring with Pearl Jam and Pluralone and other bands such as the Mars Volta, the WH10V1 has a funky quack that is rivaled by none. With the Ten Spot II V.2 not only do you have one of the greatest wah tones at your fingertips you now have the option to alter the frequencies of the wah sweep when the pedal is switched into bass mode.
Wilson Effects felt that this circuit was well, less than amazing when it was in bass mode. They re-engineered the circuit board to allow you to sculpt that bass tone with two internal six position frequency switches. When switch one is engaged on both banks of switches, you will have the stock bass setting of the pedal. You can turn one switch off and leave the other on, or try multiple combinations of settings to further tweak the sound of the pedal. This function only works in bass mode of the pedal.
Each pedal features a volume control to tame that boost so many players complain about, guitar/bass q switch, depth control and two frequency switches located inside the pedal. The Ten Spot II V.2 is fuzz friendly and plays well with a majority of fuzzes and distortion/overdrives on the market today. Powered by a 2.1mm center negative 9vdc power supply or high quality 9vdc battery. It is backed by a one-year warranty on parts and labor aside from friction-based components. It also features an exact replica of the WH10V1 pot that gives the V1 that watery quack and sweep that sets it apart from the reissues.
